Etch-a-sketch using Flash and Arduino

Well, I had nothing much better to do today, so after sorting out my previous problems with Arduino and Flash, I thought i’d connect 2 potentiometers to the Arduino board, and make….. Yezzer-sketch!

Here’s the on-screen result:

I need to get some better potentiometers, these are pretty rubbish.

Yey for making … stuff! :D

That’s fantastic. How much did the parts cost?

  2. Iestyn Says:

Hey Paul :) Not much! The most expensive part is the Arduino at about £20. The rest of it is just a few quid from Maplins.

Looks great, i am wondering if it is posible to get the actionscript file. I am trying to do the same but i can’t figure out how to use the x and y values to keep the line drawing.
I am trying to let it draw pixel by pixel using the x and y value from the previous pixel in the lineto code.

I can imagion that you want to keep the code for yourself so maby a hint is welcome.

    Cheers
